How do you politely tell a boss that if he insists on texting me outside work hours it either doesn't get read or I bill for it?

@DrSagan Well... he manages time. And if I'm not there I can't punch the clock.

But this is bullshit and I'm on the verge of calling him up and demanding a raise IMMEDIATELY or something. I don't care what's normal for our industry.

@Leucrotta do you work remotely?

and i agree, you should demand something/a raise

@DrSagan No, I have never been able to work remote at this job. HE can. His PREDECESSOR has worked from home since mid December on the other side of the state. I can't. I get hit by gas costs and the price of living in Seattle.

I last requested (and got) a raise at the start of January, after my prior boss basically made it so I had to come in daily regardless of health, mood or weather and expanded my duties. I'd figured on asking again in December. This just REALLY bothers me though.
