Open question; what game systems either do more realistic or more cinematic combat than 5e? PF2e seems okay here, but despite my experience fencing I don't think I'm a particularly good judge of what's most realistic or fun for combat in games.

(This comes out of feeling 5e has an okay way of getting most characters' AC to resolve around 14-16ish, and leaning into a more believable part/light/unarmored look for adventurers. But it feels clumsy somehow and I'm not sure what I'm missing.)
