let's just say that given the history of the Internet so far, consider me doubtful that "keeping the fash around to keep an eye on them" actually works when part of their goal is access to the very people they want to harass
like do you not seriously understand why they were hooting and hollering that Musk took over Twitter was because it was never about them having their own spaces, but accessing ours?

being a trans woman is not some grant of nobility and eternal unquestionable wisdom of oppression

the fediverse, like many left spaces, remains dominated by white people not just because of simple demographics majority but because white people continually refuse to accept that much of what they see as basic respect and politeness has long been used as a cudgel against black people

they understand anti-racism not in the very real and stark terms that black people are generally forced to contend with from the moment they can even begin to comprehend the situation, but as a pat on the back of doing the right thing
but it's not that for black people. it's not just the right thing, it's the only chance we have to ever even sniff actual freedom. even white luminaries like John Brown failed to understand and accept the stark situation
