This is probably borderline racist, but back in NorCal I concluded that any recruiter/HR person with an East Indian accent and an out of state number didn’t actually have a job opportunity, they were offshore and probably trying to make a call metric, so I just didn’t want to talk to them. I’m *hoping* the dude with the heavy accent earlier this morning is a lot more on the level, since his phone number came up as fairly local.
