update; having listened to all of Powerslave I'm now listening to all of Peace of Mind.
If I suddenly declare my intent to run an AD&D game (4d6-lowest, you get one 18 free, single classed demihumans can advance to 2-4 levels higher than the rules give), you'll understand why.
@GraySpots I'd probably have to but I really dislike Roll20. Probably use Zoom or Discord for voice - which would be easier with AD&D.
I'm still not sure if I'd actually go that route - AD&D has this weird balance created by widely different level requirements per class, which requires careful tracking experience points.
Other stuff I've thought about are 3e (don't have any stuff other than FR books), 4e (impossible to do as theater of the mind), Dungeon World, Pathfinder 2e. I'm not sure yet.
@Leucrotta Adding @Bordigan because I’ve lost track of what stuff he’s picked up.
@Leucrotta So if you were to theoretically run a campaign (AD&D or other), would you do so remotely? Hubs has been collecting handbooks and is itching to roll some dice with people.
