@Leucrotta Depends on how badly you need the income.
If you don't need them at all or have another job lined up I wouldn't give them any notice. I wouldn't even tell them I'm quitting, I'd just stop showing up.
But if you don't have anything else ready, then hanging on and just gritting your teeth through it might be the best for now until something better comes up.
Always fun chances to really mess up things for them too if you're feeling frisky.
@matoakit Thanks. I don't think I have to intentionally mess up for them, they've already decided I'm the antichrist or something.
@Leucrotta Yeah, might want to job hunt soon, sounds like they're already witch hunting and unless they change targets they'll probably try and find legal ways to get rid of you.
@matoakit Thank you for confirming my (unpleasant) suspicions. I'd started looking last week after my boss *screamed* at me over the phone, but I put in for a batch more jobs, today.
@frostwolf @matoakit I probably should have realized that working for a rich boomer in an innately immoral field is *not* going to pay off in being treated well.
@Leucrotta @matoakit ...huh. Yeah.
yyyyepp.
maybe there are other fields you could go into with similar clerical work but less inherently shitty bosses.
