Yesterday, someone in a mutual chat requested that I post sexy furry art, and I took a deep breath and I posted one of myself that is not for general eyes. I got a warm reception and people understood why it made me feel sexy or at least, they did not shit out a brick.
I used personality A with friend group B and they didn't get mad? Is that how human interaction is supposed to work? You accept people and don't turn on them on a dime?

@Charlotte I feel like there’s a meta level, where the commissioner accepts that they in an abstracted form are worth spending money on to look sexy, equivalent to spending money on appearance in meatspace; people relate to that, admire it.

@Leucrotta Yeah, absolutely. A selfie is a picture of yourself you can control, in an era where our picture is so often taken outside of out control. All the fursona is, in that context, is Selfie+.
