Okay there were some details of my current temp job that *didn’t* stick from training, thus I’ve been readjusting to include that material and referencing everything I can get at; there’s still part of me feels I’m as dumb as a post AND that I’m about to be yelled at or fired for being innately inept. These aren’t useful feelings.

@Leucrotta Training soapbox again.

The purpose of training should not be to cram as much information into a person's head as possible. It's to provide exposure to the systems, explain the concepts, and teach the participant how to use the DOCUMENTATION.

If the process isn't documented, that is not the fault of the employee, that is the fault of the employer and they should be smacked.

@GraySpots what I am hoping is that this case is more; my employer understands that training was very rushed and lots of information, such that some stuff just didn’t stick. But obviously I’ve been around “you aren’t good enough” stuff recently even if the most feared result doesn’t happen.

@Leucrotta I hope so too. I've just seen so many people "fail" when it wasn't their fault and it's a huge pet peeve of mine since I have the training background.
