it is 9:30 and we wanted to wake up at 11. Unsure if it's worth going back to sleep.

Debating whether to go back to sleep, or head out early and hit SF for an hour or two or something.
We gotta be there at 2:30, which means we gotta be at the Caltrain station at 2 (it seriously only takes 20 minutes??) which means we gotta be at BART at like uhhh 12:44 according to its planner thing, but some leeway would be nice, so we were planning on heading for BART at 12ish.
@Leucrotta We are OFF! Went to 19th St. station to pee, now on our Millbrae train waiting for the cops to finish whatever they decided to pull at West Oakland. Uggghhh I'm glad we left "early".

They pull shit like this literally every day. Or at least every few days. If a message comes up on that account on here that mirrors BART alerts, there's a 70% chance it'll be "police activity".
"trains are not stopping at X" is rarer, though.

... and apparently if you use Clipper it does the same "charge you a full $12 and refund when you tag off" shit that the ferry does. We bought a paper ticket for the route back and it's so much less stressful, even though it costs like 50 cents more.
