– got completely involved in transferring our cloud stuff to a new server
– the coffeeshop had to kick us out when they closed
– it is now 9:45, completely dark, and we are COLD instead of hot! Weird! We should head home.

@Leucrotta We stopped by the Trader Joe's that apparently exists near the BART, on our way to the coffee shop. Got some pumpkin spice flavored minipretzels and some cereal. The cereal was pretty cheap – since when is Trader Joe's the cheap option?? though I bet the box is just small – and they are WAY less nasty than the Safeway by the coffee shop.

@topaz Trader Joe's is WEIRDLY inconsistent - like I think they're better priced for goat cheese and their selection is better, I think you kinda have to accept that as part of cost. The big place where they seem to be pricier is vegetables (since the only meat I buy there tends to be the really processed stuff). Also, if you're ever getting stuff there, do NOT get bread from them, it tends to go off way faster than other supermarket breads.

@Leucrotta A while back we went looking online for stuff about tortillas that didn't taste funny, and found some Article™ that listed Trader Joe's ones as either the best or pretty close. If it wasn't 10 PM already I'd stop by on the way back to grab some, but they're closed now. There's tomorrow I guess. :3

and GOOD to know on the bread. I bet they don't fill it with preservatives... which is good if you can eat it fast, but considering the way we tend to forget a given food thing exists, hah, yeah.
We grew up with homebaked bread so storebought bread never going bad is still kind of weird to us!
