Ok but seriously though. Seriously. I know most people are totally over masks BUT, if you have a cold, even if you know it's not COVID, could you please just wear one in public for a few days til you're better??? Because I've been sick since August because no one gives a crap anymore and likes to just fling their germs around willy nilly. I wear a mask all the time in public cause my immune system sucks but it works best if both the germ giver and the germ receiver are wearing one.
@Yotenotes I have this bad feeling that between masks being a new thing that could go away for a lot of Americans, and masks being an actively resented intrusion for others, if there's no mandate (and there won't be one, because nobody wants to upset the real jerks) we're back to the old standard where only East Asians actually put a mask on.
