Well, I lost my job. Ultimately it came out to "they wanted a different skillset than I had". I told them I had a little experience with Python and Javascript, and for the last three months, that's all they wanted from me & I didn't ramp up fast enough.
No hard feelings. This job was a good way to get back on my feet after recovering from burnout. I've been promised a good reference by my manager. Might get placed back at the same company. I'd really rather get an FTE role, though. I've got enough savings that I should probably hold out for something that's a better fit.
