@Leucrotta Do you have a different cable and/or charger you can try? Our phone sometimes has intermittent-disconnecting issues with our other cable but not the one it came with, for some reason.
@topaz I have another cable. This one worked in the past though.
@Leucrotta I really hope it's just that the cable suddenly broke or something. Or dust in the port, because apparently that's a thing.
@topaz I hope so too... this is combining with worry about the temp job to give me an anxiety attack. I'm really not sleeping much

@Leucrotta Oh that's a huge relief. 
@Leucrotta If you need a new cord, we like Ikea's ones personally (their higher end braided style). Plenty long, braided, comes with an elastic hold-it-coiled loop, and still somehow under $10!
