We got a f'n smol teapot!!
I was not expecting the strainer inside, that's very welcome.

@frost oh awesome! This means using looseleaf tea is now waaay more a thing.
@Leucrotta Yeah!!! We already had a glass teapot from Ikea, but its infuser basket was long and narrow so it'd be a pain to clean, so we never actually used it.
We've already got a bag of looseleaf sencha somewhere...
@Leucrotta We also got a pourover cone for coffee, but I want fresh coffee for that since coffee goes stale way faster than tea, 'specially when it's preground.
@Leucrotta I'm actually wondering if we can just use this pot without the strainer basket – maybe the leaves will ｅｘｐａｎｄ enough to not flow out the spout when it's time to pour.

it looks like we'll want maybe a quarter to a third of a cup of batter, total... time to break out the small measuring spoons!
@Leucrotta oh gods we're going to need like a single molecule of baking powder
@Leucrotta it's 1/2 tsp for 2 cups of batter, 8 times what we need...
@Leucrotta Let's use 1/8 tsp baking powder, we can estimate with our 1/4 tsp measure.
I think I'll just mix it all up right in the measuring cup.
experimental tiny cake recipe
1 tbsp sugar
1.5 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp baking powder
dash of salt
1/4 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp oil
add the drys, stir
add the wets, stir
pour in and bake; we have /no idea/ how long to bake for, maybe 10 minutes, guess we'll find out!
