@frost I can't find any information about the Ten Ren that used to be in Albany, but 947 Grant Ave, San Francisco, CA 94108 is a Ten Ren in SF and presumably relatively near BART/interbay bus
If you're looking for English/Irish breakfast teas etc there's also Peets
@Leucrotta Ooh! I didn't know Peets sold tea (rather than just offering it to drink)!
@Leucrotta I take it it'd just be like, on a shelf somewhere like the coffee is?
@frost Yeah there should be like a batch of shelves with tea and coffee and insulated travel mugs, stuff like that
3200 College Ave, Berkeley, CA 94705 is the one nearest where I used to live
@Leucrotta ooh neat! Gonna have to check that one out if our usual doesn't have tea.
The one we usually go to is the one on the east side of Lake Merritt, the Grand Lake District I think it's called. Says "LAKESHORE" in the front top window glass. :3 They're open until 8 which is really nice!
@Leucrotta Or I might just hit up Tenren because wow, those tins are pretty.
I hope they take food stamps 'cause that'll be expensive.
@Leucrotta ...hell. I hope Peets takes food stamps for dry stuff bought in store. They might not because they're primarily a café.
@Leucrotta There would be a 0.5oz bag for $2.50, which would be perfect, but the website says out of stock.
@Leucrotta ...Honestly I wonder if we should order tea online instead of trying to find a shop... everyone else seems to do online, and it'd probably be way cheaper. Downside of course is shipping, and I don't know if food stamps work online.
@Leucrotta Ooh, interesting. :3
