@frost $50 is ouchy now, when there's no money coming in, but it is useful stuff to have - and potentially you might have it for years, which definitely makes it a worthwhile $50.

@Leucrotta What's baffling is Home Depot's plain bare metal industrial shelves are like $80, while Ikea's nice white-painted prettier ones are $20.

I bet the industrial shelves hold more weight or something.

@frost It's entirely possible. It's also possible that the price is greater at Home Depot because they don't expect to sell as much and are trying to make up the loss, and it's possible both are true. You doing comparison shopping is really impressive, please give yourselves credit for that.
