I often try to listen to thematically appropriate music for the art I work on. Not always, but often.

For my Space Fox pictures, I've been listening to a lot of Space Oddity, Starship Velociraptor, Starlight Brigade, and recently Holst's The Planets.

If I had much confidence in my music composition skills, I'd write a Space Fox cycle.

@ziphi why not do something even if it’s unfinished/unshared as a way to help figure out the visual art?

@Leucrotta Because music composition takes me forever!

If I start adding musical compositions, it'll add at least a year to an already enormous 10-illustration project.

I may try it later as a side project, so long as I don't let it interfere with the visual art part of things, but I don't really plan on it right now.
