A lot of ADHD information online seems filtered through “my child behaves in a way that inconveniences me” rather than “my child’s behavior doesn’t seem typical and I wish to protect them.” Am I seeing this through my own biases or is that a legit issue?

@Leucrotta That’s a legit issue, and not just for those with ADHD.

@Leucrotta oh no, it's sadly super common, and not just with ADHD, any type of brain spiciness that might be socially inconvenient like autistic traits

@Leucrotta this is what I found in paediatrics too, plus an assumption that "everyone else" is neurotypical
