@Leucrotta Here's the camera! Got it at Target, list price was $35 (WTF??? it's cheap plastic), but it was on sale for $10. I think they're in the process of discontinuing them, Emeryville was out of stock but we lucked out at Bayfair.
@Leucrotta That switch on the front controls the flash. Annoyingly it only shuts off the /recharge/, so when you turn it off, the next shot will still have flash.
@Leucrotta Oh and here's what the inside looks like.
I can still hardly believe ths thing is an /actual functioning camera./ There's like nothing in it!
@frost oh how COOL!
@Leucrotta Yeah!!!
@Leucrotta Yeah, there's lots of places actually! Montclair Photo (where I got my me art printed :3) does film, and Mike's Camera over in Dublin does film, and apparently Looking Glass Photo (where we bought the film) ALSO has a film development place next door but we'll probably switch to going to Mike's to buy film instead anyway.
Also while comparison shopping found a place somewhere in Oakland called Underdog Film Lab, developing film is all they do, and they're slightly cheaper – $8 a roll instead of $10. (But they still charge $20 for develop+scan like everyone else.)
