good morning

rough night, lots of anxious dreams about many things

I forgot to open my water bottle up for the spirits

did get a blessing from an elder?

I can tell I'm getting better but healing is messy sometimes

there was some VC woman I saw posts from who was on this whole thing about how boring most people's lives were and how that showed the difference between "great men" like Musk and Trump and everyone else

but like most of us lead these boring lives because people like you force us to

because you want us to build your grandeur for you and expect us to be happy through you vicariously

that was only five hours of sleep but I'm thinking I'll at least get up and take a shower

or maybe I'll get coffee first

one thing that hits me as having been immiserating during getting over this cold is that I was doing vastly more scrolling because it was easy and accessible

like probably not as critical as the fevers and coughing for misery, but definitely part of it

I basically only got to the living room before being in the cooler room convinced me to lie down

might just turn off the heat in the bedroom and try to sleep some more

had a wild dream about being on like a huge tech conference held on a gigantic (unrealistic) train

when in your bed you could watch the skylines and the world pass by above you, but you could also get out to huge building-like lounge areas with free food and drinks (though it was being noted that they were already beginning to run out before the next refuel point)

one of the areas was like a collection of huge Far Side strips, some of which had been modified for the convention

it was kind of more like I was watching someone's video about it because when I remarked something like "oh this is dope I want to do this" was when I think my grip on the dream was beginning to fall

there were also a lot of cool trans ladies among the attendees who the narrator lauded
