okay so;
targeting trans and "illegal immigrants" = equivalent to going after a specific child or family member as example, complete with the "it can happen to you"
escalation of FBI/DOJ overreach/potential military involvement = "and I can hurt you"
use of media/frequency of executive actions = "at any time"
tariffs, harassment of foreign visitors = isolating tactics. "because you're dependent on me"
I know EXACTLY what this is. This is domestic abuse writ large, this is why I'm half triggered all the damn time

Now thinking about how having that as an ongoing background, doesn’t just drain energy as it would for a normal person. since I’m being intentionally abused in one part of my life, it makes me more susceptible to feel abused in other areas. I normally have this bias, but it isn’t as intense since the usual run of elitism and casual harm doesn’t have that malicious intent
