This is pretty grim and I'm sorry.

With the rise of the alt-right, I've been hearing more and more that lefties, especially queer ones like me, should look into getting a gun for self-defense. And that makes sense, I get it. Except, owning a gun makes it too easy. Too easy to put an end to a really bad day, which I've been having a bunch of lately. And I'm very sure that that's how I'd die, if I owned a gun.

Also, PoE this weekend? Today doesn't work well (Fridays in general will probably be iffy) but Sat or Sun evening would work, or maybe get some time in the mornings.

@PaulFerence Ok, granted, I've only been here a day, but so far it seems like it's 1/3 sad trans people, 1/3 incomprehensible tech talk, 1/3 twitter-lite, and half of it's in French. None of that is a condemnation, I'm a sad trans person myself, after all, and not knowing French is on me. I'm just struggling to find a footing
