I shalt not make my own tools at work (... the heck, I shaln't!)

... I just shaln't get caught doing so. Unfortunately, to make certain tools means I have to have time to do a discrete tear down on an existing machine, do my tinkering, and then set things back up at a point where an official setup isn't impacted... kinda like when you'd create a hidden directory on your dad's work pc back in the day so that you could install and play a game you got without him knowing you were touching his -very special and not at all a toy- work computer.

... only, since I'm a machinist, FAR greasier and messy, which is difficult when trying to be discreet.

@JulieSqveakaroo Being able to use underutilized work resources for personal projects is an undocumented (and somewhat unsanctioned) but very, very real part of my compensation.
