JokeySmurf is a difficult thing to be.

I make bad jokes.

I make a LOT of bad jokes. I physically do silly walks, qvick dance poses for no reason like a toddler just going "TA-DA!!" and making jazz hands, or do silly voices or impressions for no reason.

I do silly things on a regular basis (like my 'qv' instead of 'qu' qvirk, which I've done for so long that my phone autocorrects nearly everything that way), because it makes me smirk for a second, and hopefully makes someone else smirk.

I try and find humor or make humor in things, because it helps me with my depressions and anxiety to keep laughing instead of collapsing back in on myself and getting depressed and qviet.

I also know that in doing so all the time, I've made some folks uncomfortable at times, or crossed lines because it can get read as I'm not taking their thoughts or feelings seriously, or that I'm making fun of them when I'm just trying to make light of existing. I'd like to believe that my jokes are annoying at worst, but sometimes annoying and flippant is totally the wrong thing to be, and I don't always realize that until after the fact.

If I ever do that to you... I'm sorry. Genuinely sorry. I swear that I do not mean to belittle your thoughts, aspirations, feelings, or interests.

I care for y'all very much, and I'm just trying to help get us all through this life, myself included. I need to have something to smile at.

I'm a mess without it.
