@Motodrachen @haybuck I certainly don't disagree that the placebo effect is a thing that works, but too often I see it get peddled as a miracle remedy that will literally cure even cancer, and there are plenty of suckers willing to dump all their money into it as they waste away
@Cilich @Motodrachen Plus the criteria for a medicine actually working is that the placebo effect is appreciably worse than the actual medicine.
So this shit *doesn't work*.
@Motodrachen @Cilich "it can make you Really sick if applied improperly."
Dude, that's why there are INSTRUCTIONS on the BOX.
I'm sorry, I am not backing down on this one. At all. Period. I know people who have wound up in the hospital from taking Homeopathic medicine for the flu which did nothing and caused their condition to progress and ALMOST KILLED THEM.
This shit is DANGEROUS.
@Motodrachen @haybuck I still don't trust homeopathic remedies. Herbal remedies, sure. Holistic remedies? Sure. But this whole dilute the remedy to where maybe 1 in 5 million pills might contain a molecule of the actual medicine I have problems with. Especially when it's marketed to cure very serious conditions that need medical, herbal, or holistic medicines to cure.
