My housemates and wife can tell it's Her almost instantly. It's the Voice. It's not just pitched higher, and it's not just the bounce and inflection, she can Do something with our vocal chords that carries overtones and I dunno how she does it.

Oh, and Body language. Like, she leans in doorways, strikes resting poses, and I run a serious risk of being Sexist, but she just Projects 'Woman'.

Which is weird as Fuck, because we didn't Practice any of it. Like, no acting training, drama club, and we grew up in a 90% male environment. And like, uh... spent a Decade trying to fit in as a normal male engineer.

So it's kinda like being Trans, just totally ass backwards.
