mental health weirdness
@MapleDeer more often than not there is an actual Thing stopping me from doing a task(it’s too cold in the house. I have to pee.), and I’ve forgotten it. Relatedly, sometimes the order of events for the task are confusing me so my brain has rejected trying to think about it. Writing down the steps I need to take and reading the words, sometimes breaking down to pieces as small as “open internet browser”, “go to kitchen”, almost always helps me.
re: mental health weirdness
@MapleDeer @pexl Most of the ways I deal with it won't work for ya, because essentially it involves giving SUDO Privileges to a personality who mostly keeps to the subconscious and is Very sensible.
So when I don't know what to do, or I can't start on something, she'll perk up, and push the button that activates a compulsive Behavior to just do The Thing.
...I'm really starting to think the term 'Crew Serviced Human' might be a better descriptor than Plural at this point. o_o Maybe you can figure out a workaround from this basic theory.
