yes thats right, my rusty shitbox ford taurus has a Porsche derived 3L v6 in it, this was an optional engine that appx 22% of tauruses recieved

this engine is tough as fucking nails tho i s2g, one time i managed to drive on it with like 2 quarts of oil in it when it requires 5.5 (it had a pcv valve issue that sucked oil into the intake via the valve covers) and the engine was happy as can be, no dammage, this was like 8 months before i drove 1600 miles down to tulsa and have driven it another probably 5-6k without an oil change and she's still purring like a kitten...

even sounds way better than the standard "Vulcan" v6 offering, 50 more horsepower, 45 more ft/lb of torque, and sounds like a performance car.

not too fast though, but it catches people off guard because its faster than people think

@plausocks Meanwhile, I have the Mega-evolution in the 4.6 DOHC V8. The SVT engine.

Unfortunately, same Transmission as they used on Every Taurus.

@Motodrachen there were like 5 different transmissions they put in the Tauruses throughout their life

@Motodrachen yeah they put that in a lot of overburdened applications, it's basically fine in the Taurus but the Windstar and freestar are famous for burning them up
