@ouchiness@queer.party Yeah, for us it was a lot of stephen king novels and world religion stuff. My mom's multiple system, and her drunk alter was a living nightmare. She's so much better now. o_o

But see, I was a clerical error. I got the Polish iron dragon totem spirit from my Father's side, but the insane Sidhe from my mom's side. And we know all about Faeries and Iron, don't we?
So yeah, Kerithe showed up when I was Sixteen, and when you're already thinking of yourself as a Dragon spirit, living on a flower farm in a clearing in a magic forest, and your mom's a split personality witch, hearing the voice of a Woman in your head just seems like the kinda thing you grow out of.
And that kinda worked for a while. Until she showed up at my Apartment when I was 30 with a duffel and an obvious addiction of some kind, asking if she could crash here for a bit.
Getting kicked out of the magic forest didn't go well for her.
And then this spring, she started flipping over and having fun until shit got too real and she had to admit to herself she wasn't just a psychological projection, but her own person now. And that lead to all sorts of investigations most people never have to do.
