Folks act like magic isn't real and the internet isn't a modern day faerie realm.

Like bitch you just laughed at the Stand of a Fast Food Chain dissing another fast food chain stand, then woke up around 4AM wondering how you just spent the last 8 hours partying with a bunch of Elves and orcs and shit.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online Yaori: The aces say that you have to grab one or the other. Embracing Uni's nature of love and forgiveness will leave Ali's nature unfulfilled and vice-versa.

To handle the challenge in front of you, it's gonna take All of you and None of you. My major Arcana is the Fool, or the Magician, I'm not sure which yet. It may be both! But what the Fool tells me is that you need to proceed, but Un-biased, prejudice free, and open, but seize an Ace when it shows itself.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online Or put another way, Swords may triumph where Cups fail, but at what cost?

@clipclopboom@snouts.online If it helps, Yaori is saying that this is a time when you can draw strength from your Black/white split.

That there are two Win conditions, not two Loss conditions.

But that no matter the end result, you're going to be unsatisfied. Pyrrhic Victoria. Even if you win, you'll still lose something, and to lose that Gracefully will be your salvation.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online ...

I mean, that version of events is Bleak. You're supposed to proceed as if you're not going to be satisfied, that you fear you're out of touch with natural cycles, and that you know you're at rock bottom.
The outcome is... Well, that you're in a binary fight you can't win through logic and reason.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online The last four are disorganized from how we learned them.

Those cards Above are the obvious. the cards below are the Sublime. I'm not sure why that works, but for us, it does.

Gimmie a minute to reformat your reading in those terms.

Sometimes the Tohri part of me feels oddly boosted by the knowledge that a strong Masculine figure is needed by so many of our friends, but that he's crippled by impostor syndrome.

I know that a bunch of you want a Pirate Quartermaster to tell you everything is gonna be okay. That the challenges that are Coming are just a matter of resolve and persistence.

The Spirit of John Barleycorn is hard to call on at this time of year, but he's still there. Sleeping.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online Tohri: Fuck. Sometimes I just want to invite Ali to a Discord chat and a game of War Thunder, and... *He blushes* Well, talk over this shit from the Masculine angle. It's Bullshit when I feel like the Husband that needs to go crack open a cold one with the Other Husband and cover what the Wives haven't touched on.

'Cause I have a Way different read on what's going on.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online Well, that one is clear.
The Hermit.
If you embrace conflict instead of Love, you're going to end this spread Alone.

Is it better to know you're wrong for embracing emotional violence, or be proven Right, and be Alone?

I suppose this is going to be the Dilemma. Embrace Cups or Swords?

@clipclopboom@snouts.online The lower left, the three of swords is the root of your current conflict. You've sacrificed, your heart has Bled, and you've given up Much.
The ace of swords is your subliminal to Come, or the surrounding environment. You have the cance to success through Logic, and cutting words, and there is Victory there, but with it's proximity to the ace of cups...

Let me draw one more card..

@clipclopboom@snouts.online You know how powerful you are, however. The Star is Yaori's card, and her power is that of the Rainbow, drawn into One. Pure Magic.

What is known but not by you is that you have the blessing of the Queen of Cups, the Feminine master of the Feminine suite. But the subliminal inference that you have to Fight for it, is evident.

Alicorn may need to defend Unicorn's honor and integrity. I'm sorry that you two are a swords/cups split.
Adds a double meaning where there shouldn't be

@clipclopboom@snouts.online Heartbreak is the subliminal root of your Current struggle, but your Future will require the understanding of a New conflict. Though when you get two aces abutting, it means a course of action is Advised. Choose cups over Swords, even though it might make you Vulnerable.

The Fool is a Goddamn wildcard though, and when he shows up at the core of a reading, anything is possible.

It may be that a Naked Time is coming. Be unashamed. You are who you Are.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online So the first cross is pretty obvious. The known, the subliminal, the main material timeline.

Binary love in your past, progress halted by your Belief structures, absolute newness and Terra Incognito in your immediate future.
The Ace of cups will guide you through, to your Outcome, which is new conflicts you're unprepared for.
You know you have the power of the Star, and although you Don't know it, you have the power of the Queen of Cups behind you.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online as such. I'll go through my reading for you here.

The witch is In, HMU if you've been needing advice on spirits, weird shit, or anything that's been happening that just can't be straight up explained.

@Lunostophiles@snouts.online Indulging in my side that's close to the Loa of Mother Brigid, you?

@clipclopboom@snouts.online So your Background is the Immediate: You're feeling like your grasp on the Feminine Incarnate is upside down.
And the Abstract: The ten of swords Inverse. You're So done with shit as it is, you're ready for Anything that comes after This.

If I was going to suggest anything, it's that this reading is trying to make sense of You as a whole.

Give Alicorn a chance to draw his own cards and roll his own bones. He...

Gods, he probably needs as much love as Tohri does.

@clipclopboom@snouts.online Keri: i tend to lay it out in a double-cross, with the last card in the line, representing the Outcome in line with the rest of the spread.
That way, the middle rank represents the material, the lower cards represent the subliminal, and the upper rank represents the realms of the Known.

In this case, the Outcome is the Nine of cups, The Known by You is the six of pentacles, and the known (Not to you) is the two of swords inverse.
