@hyratel High-impact, and it's backed by Fiberglass laid up directly to the plastic. The striking surface is HDPE, which is unspeakably tenacious for a plastic.

@hyratel My design concept had molded ABS as a backing material, with .250" HDPE as a fronting plate, and motorcycle tires overlaid.

Either that or ABS plastic and sapphire structural fiberglass with steel organ plate.
