okay so, in my early days on mastodon, I didn't understand why people were expected to put content warnings on politics
to me, it seemed like another example of a community trying to stay together while excusing people for views that completely exclude the members the community's most marginalized members, and an attempt to silence those members.
as I stayed on mastodon however, I realized that this, just wasnt the case

Pulled it off, floofed out my hair, and was cleaning up the shop when my co-worker Orion, the adorable little 19 year old straight boi walks in the shop and I Saw him jump three points on the Kinsey scale.
"Woah. I never get to see you with your hair down. that's incredible."
I've joked before that the only deciding factor on my Gender is a generic hair tie. I just got to see it in Action.
