is there a good reason for Android to not allow apps to have volume sliders? Coming from iOS it's probably the weirdest quirk of the platform

@noiob Hm, then. I don't know. I have an app that has permission to change my system's volume, both media and notification, so I'm sure the access is there somewhere. Maybe apps choose not to implement it, or it's difficult to implement so apps don't bother unless they really need to?

@Mycroft hm, yeah, I googled it and it looks pretty easy if you're already playing audio
