@davidsgallant@toot.cat I never did psionics but sorcerers worked a lot like how the current system works- just a raw number of spell slots that you can cast with any spell you know, but a limited spell list

@davidsgallant@toot.cat wizards can prepare a limited number of spells they know each day and then use the spell slots the same way once they do that

@vahnj @davidsgallant@toot.cat Yup, and clerics/druids change up their prepared spells every morning (like 3e), yet once that's set they cast like a 3e sorcerer like everyone else.
Warlock's different in they get limited spell slots, but they always cast at highest level, and get spell slots back on a short rest (~2h I think, not the 5m of 4e)
