Got good news on jorb. As in I've been offered a higher paying one wherein I do things I like a bit more and workplace is fully air conditioned in the summer. Not starting until next month though.
Now I just need my anxiety to not screw me up.

@Siphonay@octodon.social Wouldn't that be the New 3DS line? They're coming out with the New 2DS XL next month, and it seems weird to release a product to only be supported for 1-1.5 years.

@raccoon Anything I can help with, from personal experiences to preferences to getting-started tips?

@raccoon My personal reasons for playing private server was I missed the landscapes of the pre-cata world, not necessarily the grinding or the quest design, etc.
My "personal private server" lets me revisit those landscapes, even fly in them, take part in quests, etc. so I've less reason to trudge through external private servers for that feeling.

@raccoon I've got a character or two there I think, the one crowded pve server.

@raccoon Ah, just missed me I think. I'm a been-playing-since-vanilla veteran who's now a month clean. I've dabbled in private servers off and on though. (Even managed to run a personal-only one!)

to me the setting of Golarion was the least interesting thing about Pathfinder, and that's all pfo had

@Siphonay@octodon.social it was fun when I was able to scrape enough together for a doctor visit, for a particular thing, I tried to get my money's worth by asking about various other things, and was told the cost for testing was very high
so yeah maybe I've had cancer for the last 3-4 years, someday maybe I can afford to pay essentially legalized gambling to find out
