phobias, flying insects
phobias suck. a lot.
why in this particular instance?
well there is a particular flying insect creature flying around my room, bouncing off objects with a chitinous "click" noise every so often. you know, like a certain small stripy buzzing insect with a painful sting that I have a phobia of might.
it's flying around pretty rapidly too. just like said creature I am deathly afraid of.
It occasionally flies past me or at my peripheral vision, prompting squeals and jumping.

here's the thing. I KNOW precisely what it is. I have SEEN it something like eight or nine times in the past 20 minutes, clearly, and without ambiguity. I KNOW it's a moth. Moths are friends . moths are nice. Moths are adorable and I love them to bits and I try to rescue them from my kitties as often as possible.
Yet EVERY time I hear it or catch a glimpse of it or it flits past me harmlessly but fast, I panic for a bit. :(

I haaaaaaaaaaaaate this so much and I hate that wasps have done this to me. moths are friends not stinging hellbeasts. ;_;
