The hours had blended into each other as Reki put paw in front of the other, sinking it into the warm sands before stepping again and again. The sun fell, rose, and set again and She kept walking, her fennec ears twitching and her mind entranced by something she could hardly remember anymore.
Gravity shifted and her muzzle planted hard into the sands.
Still she kept walking.

the sands tried to choke her, pushing down her throat as she tried to breath its' waters. a horn sounded all around her and nowhere, and the static was no longer in her eyes. It was all around her, swarming and blocking out the sand she swam through to get away from the air below. It burned away the wings the desert granted her. Even the static was in conflict with black specks fighting white specks. She floated amidst the war until blackness won, and only a speck of white remained.

The darkness didn't feel right, so she fell sideways into the white speck, shrinking until it was her world.
Reki awoke with a start and coughed, mouth dry and her world spinning. She places her furless hand to the carpet by her bed she had fell on and coughed. She heard a knock on the door and a familiar, worried voice, but beckoned it away with assurances. When she could finally focus, she looked beneath to where she was coughing and saw the symbol of Gemini drawn in sand .

She breathed the desert sands and walked on air, her glazed eyes shifting to static with the slightest memory of colored iris amidst the fizz of static. Wings burst through tan, sand-dusted fur but she swam up through the sandy dunes that started swirling around her, tugging and making her forget up from down.
"You need to let it go" A voice sifted through the sands.
The rest of the voice distorted the most she tried to focus, and became further away as she swam.
