When I was young I had a daydream while living in the country that I would be running through fields one day, crying existentially, and be abducted by aliens who would explain to me that what I was feeling was known to them, and they could fix it.
They would then do just that, and I would watch as my human self just... washed away and my true self shined. They'd take me away from earth and show me so many wonders.
Then I'd cry because it was a ridiculous thought.

A few years ago, I met a few aliens who... explained to me that what I was feeling... was known to them.
and that they could help.
They would do just that, spectacularly so, and I would watch as I seized what I could of my true self, and dared to defy reality with them. They took me away from earth in one way or another, and have showed me so many wonders.
Sometimes, I cry because it is such an amazing reality.
