In the first Ep of Metalocalypse, Nathan Explosion says the goal of Dethklok is to male everything metal. Coffee, door to door sales, college graduation ceremonies, all metal.
Along those lines, Baby Metal is taking Japanese Idol Pop and making it metal, and I can't understand why people would give them a hard time.

@PaulFerence It's not unique to my Mom, I've never seen either parent take a morale stand on something that doesn't affect them. It's just disappointing.

One of the core staff members for the Minnesota Ren Faire was charged with rape. As that issue has been investigated, there's been a lot of gross negligence and super gross harrassment that's been revealed because of it. That's caused all of my friend group that loved the faire to quit working there.
When I informed my Mom why I wouldn't have free tickets for her this year, she said it was fine and she can get 2 for 1s through the local paper.
