@tahajin @MillennialDog@mastodon.social The good news is that's one of the GOOD things about the Federated Instance nonsense... by default, your posts will appear on the Federated Timeline of anybody that follows somebody from the same instance you're on. so you're already getting out there!

@tahajin for all of its weirdness though there are a lot of quality-of-life improvements here that birdsite should have implemented ages ago.

Like Individual-Post privacy settings, and Content Warnings that hide your post until people click on it.

@MillennialDog@mastodon.social @tahajin afaik the reason awoo.space is sought after is b/c it's more carefully curated and uses a fork of Mastodon that whitelists as opposed to blacklisting. Keeps a lot of the shitty masto instances out by default.
