convinced earbuds exist entirely because of apple's awful but successful ad campaigns

i'm also VERY ANGRY about this because I miss easily available ear-clip headphones that rested on the ear--not circumaural, that's the total ear-cup thing--I forget the name, but it was my preferred portable answer. Now it's total studio headphones or tin can earbuds and neither of those present a comfortable middle ground for sound quality and "walking around trying to find the least-bruised banana bunch" that I want.

@Edelwood I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but we've used these before and they have good sound quality and are ridiculously cheap; the only downside is they're not very durable. amazon.com/Panasonic-Headphone

@Edelwood It's the Panasonic RP-HT21 if you want to look for it somewhere other than Amazon, also.

@Rosemary Oh, thank you! I'm speaking of ones more like this though:
amazon.com/SHS3800-98-Philips-

Hook over the ears, no band, nothing stuffed in my misshapen ear canals that'll get expelled if I move my jaw or produce a weird 'ear against seashell' noise that ruins what I'm listening to.

I know I can find them online, it's more that I used to be able to find headphones as above in any random store with ease and now it's nothing but earbuds and I'm blaming Apple for their stupid commercials portraying itty bitty tin can earbuds as THE BEST SHIT EVER.
