@Balina There is, in fact! It's just called a pig in English. "vark" is the Afrikaans word for pig, with aarde being the word for earth or ground; aardvark literally means "ground pig".

@Rosemary Haha, yeah I have been made aware by a couple of folks now. This is what happens when I only spend about 15 seconds double-checking a joke before making it.
