We're looking for some advice: We're about to travel to visit family for the holidays, and we're going to be taking our Nintendo Switch with us. We don't have a carrying case for it, though, and we're not sure what to look for in one; we've never previously had a portable system that required one, so we don't know what to look for when buying one.
Could someone recommend either a specific case or at least key words to look for? Preferably on the cheaper end of things; $25 or less if possible.
@Rosemary The official Nintendo ones are great! They're 15-20, hold several games and have a screen cloth with them as well
@fournm Is there an official nintendo one? Can you provide a link?
@Rosemary https://www.target.com/p/nintendo-174-switch-deluxe-mario-kart-edition-console-case/-/A-52802463 Here's the Mario Kart one, but they have SEVERAL different styles
@fournm Oh, licensed ones, okay. I thought you meant ones made by nintendo.
@Rosemary Ahhh, that one is licensed, yeah. Could've sworn there was one that was made by them that's almost that exact style but I can't find any links to it now because holy crap there's so many of these
@Rosemary Nope, mine's also a PDP licensed! Huh. The Nintendo-made ones are all hard shell and 40--sorry, should have double checked before saying anything! the PDP one I have is nice/fine but apparently ordering them online is a gamble??
@Rosemary @rey YZtree Nintendo Switch Carrying Game Traveler Deluxe Travel Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X9TST7H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_u5aeCbEM8C4GZ I got this one last year and it’s worked just fine. Has a place to put a micro usb cable and game carts, keeps the switch screen from getting scratched, and keeps things together in my bag. And it’s $11.
