@Caudle Your threads do seem longer than they need to be. You don't seem to be using the full character allowance; are you merely copying from birdsite?

@Caudle The circles we're in, it's very unusual to see someone who's on both. I don't know how much effort it would be to change it over here to fit the longer character limit.
I'd also recommend looking at instances running customized versions of mastodon, as there are many, such as awoo.space, where you have a much longer or even unlimited post length.
@Caudle If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to answer. I'm all for getting people more into this side of the internet, away from all the corporate nonsense.
