Baba Is You is a very difficult game. The puzzles are well-designed but extremely hard and I'm trying to get through all of them without any hints but I might need to give up on that and ask for hints. Anyone here who's completed the game and could provide some hints? Not solutions, just hints.
@Rosemary i haven't beaten every puzzle but i've beaten a lot (and gotten to the end) and have had practice giving hints that are useful without just spoiling the solution

@Rosemary there's so much secret stuff that A Way Out? being presented as the ending is basically a joke the developer played on you. there are whole worlds of more puzzles

@monorail I couldn't even hope to beat A Way Out? the first time I got access to it; there were too many unfamiliar words. So I've unlocked worlds up to the mountaintop and the chasm, and I have found the one secret level that you can get by using Level Is Baba--which, let me say, was quite an amusing twist to be able to do that! I'm not sure if that's what you consider the late game or not.

by default (say, if you were in an empty level with just baba in it), none of your arrow keys would do anything. why are you allowed to control baba on the overworld?

@monorail Well, the overworld has a baba is you, but there's no way to actually do anything with it that I can see. I can destroy it, making baba not me, but then I don't have any ability to do anything else. I think? Let me look at that.

@monorail Finding a way to get Level Is Flag seems like a straightforward thing to do, actually... Let me see if I can do that anywhere.

@monorail Aha! That was a rather interesting way to achieve it, but I got Level Is Flag. Now to explore this new place.

@Rosemary there's a sort of side-objective you can achieve in the secret level, in addition to just winning it and getting the dandelion
funnily enough, it's the same problem. why are you allowed to move there? but asking that question doesn't really help you solve it
the actual hint is that it's basically impossible to solve it any way other than "by accident", but it's designed to be extremely easy to solve by accident

Potential Baba Is You spoilers
@monorail Well, right now I'm stuck on level Forest-E, Insulation. I have Keke Is Push, and straightforward ways to turn that into Keke Is Skull or Keke Is Up. I can't see what that gets me, though; a skull can swap a couple of tiles before another skull removes the word swap from that rule, but I can't see how to get through the wall using that.
