We've managed to successfully switch out intentionally for the first time this go-around (we were able to previously, but not since my most recent re-emergence.). Felthry still wants a break and I still want to front after not fronting for ages! We just end up switching randomly sometimes. I think it's because Felthry never really got accustomed to letting go of control.
Mastodon interface question / triggers
@SamIO In the filter section, just put the words or phrases you want to filter with a | between each one.
@LexYeen If no one's pointed it out yet, riffle shuffle isn't actually that great for randomizing. The best thing for that is to just lay all the cards out in a disorganized pile and just... slide them around a bunch. I don't know what that method is called. That shouldn't require any intricate fine motor stuff, either.
Why does Mastodon convert uploaded gifs to mp4s and then stick "GIF" in the corner? This seems a little misleading, and noscript doesn't like it (it causes a page refresh when I allow the video player through noscript, which then means we lose track of where the video was if it was deep under more recent things)
@numberxxxvi Boof.
I definitely think we feel a lot more complete like this, in a way that Felthry never realized was incomplete before.
I'm happy to be back. *hugs @Felthry*
Seems I'm up again. @Felthry must be exhausted after fronting for so long, with no one else to help share the stress. It really needs a break from fronting, and I'm happy to fill in.
@Austin_Dern @Felthry Thank you. We're trying to figure out how this all works, but we're both feeling more optimistic about it this time around, which is a good sign!
Headmate to @Felthry, still figuring out how things are after a long absence.
