@Caudle If you're a fan of puzzle games, there's an android port of Simon Tatham's Puzzles that's entirely free. We've also gotten a lot of enjoyment out of one particular Slitherlink game, though I don't know what it's called beyond just Slitherlink.

When we had an ipod touch years and years ago there was a really good Masyu app on that that's probably still around. Unfortunately it doesn't have an android version.

He did a good job of it though. It's good music. I don't know much about the metal genre, so I can't say if it really fits into the genre they were targeting, but it's good music.

It really is odd to think that Nobuo Uematsu started a metal band and released three albums. He isn't the sort of person you'd think of when you think metal music.

@cozykaffe@snouts.online The idea of the genre makes me think of mid-20s American or Scandinavian rock musicians, not middle-aged, well-respected Japanese soundtrack composers. It's good music though, regardless of the genre.

@cozykaffe@snouts.online Nobuo Uematsu is not exactly the sort of person you'd expect to start a metal band, so I'm not surprised it's hard to classify.

@cozykaffe@snouts.online Out of curiosity, since we know nothing about metal music, what subgenre would you put The Black Mages in? Or is that a special case and doesn't really count? It's the only metal band we've ever listened to.

I think it's worth reminding people from time to time--you're allowed to make mistakes, and making mistakes doesn't make you a bad person.
