Coming up to front to find that your headmate just said "the Wii is basically the PS2 of Nintendo" is an interesting feeling.

I'm probably either underleveled or underskilled or both.

In the end, I think I'm giving up on being able to beat the final boss sequence of Kingdom Hearts 1, and I'm just going to watch a video of it. Or five videos of it, since this was apparently posted back when youtube had a limit of ten minutes per video.

Is it just me, or is the kingdom hearts 1 level hollow bastion extremely frustrating? There's a ledge where you have to fight a bunch of flying enemies that won't stay over the ledge, your normal attacks automatically jump towards the enemies, and falling off the ledge puts you back at the beginning of the world. I'm tired of running through the entrance hall over and over again.

Just got to Hollow Bastion on the first Kingdom Hearts game. This is good music, for sure.

Ah, found it. Fortunately we have an old pair of glasses that's close to the right prescription.

I don't know how this happened, but somehow one of the lenses fell out of our glasses overnight. I have no idea where it is.

Feeling a little down tonight. Not sure why. I could use some conversation, I think.

I wonder if an unconscious understanding that we're plural is why we liked Baten Kaitos so much? In it, you play as the guardian spirit of the main character Kalas; essentially his headmate.

Tidus from Final Fantasy X is actually fairly relatable as a member of a multiple system. Partway through the story he learns that he doesn't exist in the way others tend to define "exist", but... he's able to take it in stride, because in every way that really matters he does exist.

I'm concerned that Amazon decided to put a "MAGA" hat in the "recommended for you" section. Also a balaclava.

Is it essential to play the Kingdom Hearts games in order if you want to understand the story? I'm finding 1 difficult, and Chain of Memories is hard to even get into.

It's disappointing, in a way, that Disney's Hercules has Hades as the villain. I know why they did it; the major modern religions tend to associate the underworld with evil. But still, Hades was probably the most pleasant person out of the Greco-Roman pantheon. Everyone else was a jerk, self-obsessed, or just straight up a serial rapist, but Hades seems like an actually thoughtful and kind person.
