A neat puzzle I just saw: You can place a black king anywhere you like on a chessboard of a given size m×n. Where do you place it such that you can place also the maximal number of white queens that do not attack the king? And how many of those queens can you place?

I wonder if you can get metal playing cards, and whether they'd actually be any good for playing card games with.

It feels like something that would be more appealing to the tarot fortunetelling crowd than to anyone playing card games, for some reason.

Earlier, I had an arena fight against Attila the Hunk, and just now I encountered some bats in a cave, called vampire battlers.

He did a good job of it though. It's good music. I don't know much about the metal genre, so I can't say if it really fits into the genre they were targeting, but it's good music.

It really is odd to think that Nobuo Uematsu started a metal band and released three albums. He isn't the sort of person you'd think of when you think metal music.

I think it's worth reminding people from time to time--you're allowed to make mistakes, and making mistakes doesn't make you a bad person.
