hmm.
I have good deal of fun playing bow and bowgun in MHGU, but am missing something to make it a little more... interesting?
like all the melee people get some cool combos, but for the most part the ranged people just find critical distance and then press A a lot
I think part of my difficulty is even after integrating a reasonable controller with 4 shoulders and two sticks, it's not integrated well at all, haha
like if I'm using the quick aim, I should be aiming with the d-pad and just pretending the stick isn't there unless I'm moving the camera while running
I was messing around in weapon training last night trying to figure out why the quick aiming feels -so- shitty and unresponsive, and I realized it's because even when you use the right stick for it, the aiming reticule only has two distinct steps of movement speed through the entire range of the stick's motion, haha
No thanks
@ShugoWah have you tried smacking the monster in the face. haven't played MHGU but in World you can be a very competent melee HBG-user because the melee strike has a ton of KO-potential.
@peacemaker Nah, I think that's mostly a World thing
@ShugoWah aw man! it's really fun to just whop some dinos in the face until they fall over
okay hold the fuck up I just learned you can use Adept HBG and roll out of crouching fire into ANOTHER crouching fire with a full free reload
